Centenary of Guiding

2010 marks the 100th year of Girl Guide service around the world.

Girl Guides in Australia will join in the worldwide Centenary of Guiding celebrations.

100 years on, Guiding is active in each Australian State and Territory. Girl Guides Australia was a founding member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1928. Over a million Australian women have been or are still Guides.

"Let's celebrate our past, live the present and power into the future"

2010 has been an exciting year for Guides both past and present as we celebrate the Centenary of Guiding and Year of the Girl Guide. To catch up with every thing that has happened in the last year, visit the photo gallery on our centenary website.
The centenary website also includes downloadable copies of the wide range of resources we have developed this year, including our latest resource – Go Girl. The site also includes Promise and Law activities and extra activities to help you complete the Centenary Challenge, which can now be continued in 2011.  To visit the centenary website, go to www.girlguides.org.au
