TREFOIL THINKING DAY 2011
Para Districts & Entente Trefoil Guilds invite Trefoil members to celebrate Thinking Day on Monday February 20th from 11am -3pm at Elizabeth Park Girl Guide Hall, corner of Kirk and Innes Street, Elizabeth Park
The programme will include Guides Own, (conducted by Shirley Ingham), a shared lunch and memories of Guiding. There will be a birthday cake celebration for Para Districts.
A Thinking Day collection will be held

DOLL & TEDDY BEAR SHOW
Hahndorf – Saturday April 14th and Sunday April 15th.
Trefoil will be catering for this Show which will be held in the school gymnasium at Hahndorf. Volunteers are needed for both days. Funds raised will go towards the Trefoil Outreach Fund and SA Trefoil Guild of SA.

TREFOIL STATE GATHERING in 2012!
PINEVIEW VILLAGE, Connyngham Street, Glenside
Saturday 6th May - 9.30am – 4.30pm.
Special guest will be Barbara Dean, Australian Trefoil Guild Adviser.
Morning topics will include
· Trefoil Guild of SA AGM
· The Olave Baden Powell Society – with a short talk by Audrey Fuhrer
· The Smith Family - with a presentation by Graham Jaeshke, EO of The Smith Family.
Saturday afternoon activities include
· Make a wax painting card or bookmark (encaustic art) – a craft activity with Shirley Plaice
· A discovery walk around Pineview and nearby (incl. Film Studio) with Audrey and Ann
· Guidng History 100 years celebration quiz, run by Cathie
· Campfire.
Lunch will be provided
Cost is $25 per person
Join in with the fun and fellowship of the Gathering!
The due date for registration & payment of the deposit of $10 is Wednesday 4th April. (Whole fee of $25 can be paid)
The due date for the balance of $15 is Wednesday May 9th (Planning Meeting)
SPRING TREFOIL TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND
14 - 28 November 2012
South Island of New Zealand (with optional tour of the North Island)
The Tour is of the South Island and will include Queenstown, Glacier Country, National Parks and Stewart Island.
More mature Trefoil members, ex-members & friends & partner are invited
Costs:-Flight costs: Return Sydney to Christchurch current average price is $450 incl. of tax
Event fees: AU$3,050 (NZ$3,780 - 18/10/2011 conversion rate)
Travel insurance available
Closing date for applications is 31 March 2012

NATIONAL TREFOIL GATHERING
The National Trefoil Gathering will be held in Ballarat in 2012. The programme will include a civic reception at the Ballarat Town Hall, opening ceremony, conference sessions, a formal dinner, a variety of tours, campfire and closing ceremony.
Registration will open on Friday 6th from 11am. The programme concludes on Monday 9th July with the Closing Ceremony followed by lunch. Participants are free to depart from 12.30pm.
Accommodation for Trefoil Guild members will be in the Boarding Houses of Ballarat Grammar School on a shared room basis and is limited to 200 beds. SA has a quota of 18 participants (there are also casual and day registrations).

Registration forms will be available from 1st August
Full registration fee is $495 and the deposit of $100 is due 1st December.
Final payment is due 1st April 2012
