
The Olave Program enables young women aged 18 to 30 to serve, support and succeed. Participants of the Olave Program are known as ‘Olaves’. The Olave Program aims to facilitate personal challenges through a flexible network, with a particular focus on service. It provides a voice for the young women of Guiding in this age group.
As Olaves, we seek to challenge ourselves under the areas of the Olave Program Framework and can choose to complete awards under the Olave Award Structure.

- Support, encourage and learn from each other through SOCIAL NETWORKS
- Grow as individuals through pursuing opportunities for SELF DEVELOPMENT
Olaves have many opportunities to represent Guiding and young women locally, nationally and internationally through positions on committees, at events and volunteering.

The Olave Baden Powell Award
Members of the Olave Program can complete the Olave Baden Powell Award which is the peak achievement for young women aged 18-30 in Girl Guiding. To find out more about the award speak to the Olave Program Manager or go to the Girl Guides Australia website.
